As day keeps moving, people in some certain places adapt strange way of doing things. As culture has it in different regions and tribes in our country, in some places if a man dies, there is always burial rite to be carried out in form of ancestral masquerade.
A day before the dead man would be buried, a-number of ancestral masquerade is always indulge in a one-day awake keeping of the dead man. After the wake-keeping, he would be buried the following day.
As custom demands, the night of the wake-keeping, a full cow is required to be presented to the men of the ancestral masquerade which is to be killed and ate by the men present in that very night. Women are not allowed to touch nor eat this meat. It's highly prohibited!
That night, there were only five men at the scene when the cow was brought. They killed it; roasted it and ate it.
The news of this uncommon act went viral in the village.
