Residents in the Balogun Agoro Area of Osogbo, Osun State have discovered the remains of a 20-year-old woman, suspected of having been killed by her boyfriend and then dumped into a pit toilet, PUNCH reports.
The body of the deceased was allegedly discovered when Dugbe Division police searched the area following complaints of a foul stench coming from the area where the toilet was located.
The boyfriend of the deceased, a bricklayer identified only as Soji, is said to have used disinfectant in the toilet in order to suppress the smell.
Residents in the area have confirmed that the deceased was prone to making frequent visits to the suspect but have reported that no confirmation has been made as to whether or not the man actually did murder his girlfriend.
The suspect is alleged to currently be on the run.
