ANOTHER FIRE OUTBREAK IN LAGOS


There are reports this morning that another fire outbreak is raging behind at Mandilas, and men of Lagos state fire services were struggling to put out the fire.
The latest fire outbreak that occurred started around 4am this morning in one of the tall buildings at the Eko/Berlin market area.
Came a time the Lagos state fire service were battling to contain the outbreak at three warehouses at Kirikiri areas of Lagos metropolis, where inflammable products like tyres were stored.


Confirming the fire outbreak in Lagos, the director of fire service in the state, Mr, Rasaq Fadipe lamented that  in the last 24 hours, his men have been battling eight different fire outbreaks among which was the twelve rooms in Ilasamaja area of the city.

He, therefore advised Lagosians that they should be extra careful about how they handle unclad fire and always put off all electrical appliances when they are not in use. Fadipe also tasked smokers on the need to properly dispose their cigarettes after smoking.

At the time of this fire outbreak, traffic has been diverted on Lagos Island as a result of the outbreak.
