ARMS-LOADED TRAILER INTERCEPTED IN JOS BY SECURITY OFFICIALS

Some set of people who with high capacity of arms, weapons and nuclear materials were reportedly arraigned while trying to snoop in the state with them in the Northern part of the country. The plans by unscrupulous elements to smuggle weapons into Jos, Plateau state, was scuttled on Monday when the trailer conveying the arms was intercepted by security officials.


The spokesperson of the Special Task Force, on Jos crisis, STF, Captain Ikedichi Iweha confirmed the development to journalists. Mr. Iweha said the Task Force was aware of the transit of the arms, insisting that the arms were illegal.
