THE TEN STIMULI OF THE MIND---BY OBEYA FRIDAY

The human mind responds to stimuli through which it may keyed up to high rate of vibration, known as enthusiasm, creative imagination, intense desire and many others. The stimuli the human mind responds most freely are as follow:

1. The desire for sex. This is not bad if it's being used judiciously. Any man who doesn't have that desire may have problem to make it in life why because it is the desire of a high order that can stimulate any mind to do great thing just as it compels man to make love to woman when it arises.


2. Love. Here comes the great of all. Love has the major role to play in everyone's life as long as success and achievement are concerned. If you don't know how to love, it is obvious that you may find it very clumsy to find yourself in the chamber of the successful. Love connects people. Love opens ways of greatness in one's life. Therefore, you must learn to love if really you want to make it in life.

3. A burning desire for fame, money, power, gain, financial and riches. It is true everyone in life wants to live large.It is true we all want to have the money to control things; but the question is that how many of us are ready to pay the price? It is a well known fact that you can never become great by mere wishes. You can only be rich by your burning desire, organized efforts and planned actions towards what you desire to become in life.

4. Friendship between either those of the same sex, or those of the opposite sex. If you really have set of good friends in your life, it is the most source of mind stimulant that can change one's entire life for good.This could be the same sex or opposite sex friendship alliance. Learn to be very observant while in any group in order to be influenced by their ways of doing great things which in turn can equip you for a great future.

5. Mutual suffering, such as that experienced by people who are persecuted. There is nothing stimulates mind like persecution and suffering. If you have been suffered, persecuted before, definitely you will understand me very well at this point. It is a well known fact that before any thing happens, there must be stimulant that would strike such a particular thing to take place. Therefore, through your suffering and persecution, you will learn how to change the ways of doing things completely different from the former ways which is the recipe for going higher in life.
