Algeria U-23 coach Pierre Andre Schuman is delighted that they finished ahead of Nigeria in Group B of the CAF U-23 Cup of Nations.
Leading Group B prior to their game against Nigeria, Algeria held out for a goalless draw with Nigeria. They will now face South Africa in the semi-finals.
In his post-match press conference,
Schuman expressed happiness that his team were able to avoid defeat
against the tough Nigerian side.
"I'm glad we ended top of the group and qualified for the semi-final of the U-23 AFCON," Schuman said.
